2N IP Security Access Controller Unit M can be tailored to fit specific access control needs with a variety of model options including RFID, RFID/Bluetooth and RFID/Keypad.
2N Access Unit M is a sleek and reliable IP Security Access Controller and reader all-in-one . Due to its mullion-style compact design, it can be easily installed on a door frame. All that is needed to connect and power the device is a single UTP cable. The device comes in several different versions – RFID, RFID combined with mobile access via Bluetooth, or RFID with a keypad, which is perfect for projects that require two-factor authentication.
Manufactured with first-class and durable materials, the units are IP55 and IK7 certified as they are dust, water and impact resistant, making them ideal for outdoor installations. With a built-in controller, installations are 30% faster compared to traditional systems and all the devices include onboard input and output relays. Encrypted communication, support for the 802.1x protocol and protection against cyberattacks are standard features, offering additional security.

WaveKey opens the door in 0.3 seconds, so you won’t have any problems using it in a busy office environment. The secret lies in its unique pre-authentication system of up to 8 mobile phones within the reader’s range.
Bluetooth communication is fully protected in our own secure channel. We used AES-128 and RSA-1024 encryption keys. It is essentially impossible to eavesdrop and misuse mobile credentials.
Users must have the 2N® Mobile Key application installed on their phones. The app is available for iOS and Android platforms and is free of charge. The solution also includes our Bluetooth access control readers. This is specifically available for selected products from the 2N Access Unit 2.0 family, the 2N Access Unit M and the 2N® IP Style and 2N® IP Verso intercoms with Bluetooth module. We recommend using the 2N® Access Commander software for clear and quick management of the smart access control system and mobile credentials.

The 2N® Access Unit 2.0 RFID access control unit has a multi-frequency RFID card reader that allows the simultaneous use of older 125kHz cards and new, secure 13.56MHz smart cards. Its greatest benefits are simple installation using a single ethernet cable, remote administration and hardware and software security.
MULTI-FREQUENCY RFID CARD READER
The combined RFID reader is extremely useful in shared office buildings where some people use secure 13.56MHz smart cards and others use regular 125kHz cards.
MINIMUM WIRING REQUIREMENTS
A single ethernet cable is all you need to ensure communication with the unit and power (PoE). You can also connect a door lock, exit button, door contact or motion sensor just as easily directly to the unit.
SAME DESIGN AS IP INTERCOMS
The access control unit will impress you with its elegant appearance, which has the same design as 2N IP intercoms. The unit comes in nickel or black and can be installed on the wall or flush mounted.
REMOTE CONFIGURATION AND ADMINISTRATION Thanks to IP technology, the access control unit can be administered remotely via a web interface You can also use 2N® Access Commander software or the 2N® Remote Configuration service to administer the unit.
